A cocktail kit is a gift she'll open, use and remember. Each one comes with the spirit and everything else she needs, plus your message on a card we write by hand. Below are our picks, depending on what she likes to drink.
What makes a good gift for her?
One that proves you were paying attention. Think about the drink she always orders and send her the kit for that. We make every kit to order in Toronto, with everything measured so nothing is left over once she's made the last drink.
Our picks
For after dinner: Espresso Martini
For the woman who would happily skip dessert for a good Espresso Martini. This one starts with Two Bears, a Toronto cold brew that's slow-steeped in cold water for hours, so it comes out smooth and rich with a natural hint of sweetness. Kahlúa adds just enough sugar, the vodka keeps it sharp, and a hard shake gives it the thick, silky foam she'll expect. The Espresso Martini Kit makes 16 drinks, from $149, with Absolut or Grey Goose. For fall, there's also a Pumpkin Spice Espresso Martini, 8 drinks from $99.
For good news: French 75
Save this one for a promotion, an engagement or anything else worth toasting. Hendrick's, a Scottish gin infused with cucumber and rose petals, gives it a cool, floral edge, lemon keeps it bright, and the sparkling wine makes it crisp and dry. You decide how fancy the bubbles get: Mionetto Prosecco for $119, or Moët & Chandon or Veuve Clicquot for $199. The French 75 Kit makes 8 drinks.
For the one who likes it pink: The Cherry On Top
Pink, frothy and impossible to ignore. It's built on Joie de Vivre, a pink gin from a female-founded Ontario distillery with notes of raspberry, tart cherry and bright citrus. Black cherry juice deepens the colour, raspberry syrup adds a second layer of fruit, and a hard shake builds a thick foam on top, finished with a cherry on a pick. The Cherry On Top makes 16 drinks for $149. If she'd rather keep it classic, the Cosmopolitan is never out of style: pressed cranberry for colour and a tart edge, lime to keep it crisp and Cointreau for a clean orange sweetness, from $169.
For the Margarita loyalist: Margarita or Spicy Margarita
Some people try every cocktail on the menu. Margarita people don't. The kit balances lime with Cointreau, a French orange liqueur made from sweet and bitter orange peels, so it's tart without turning sour. The rim is Maldon sea salt, hollow pyramid-shaped flakes harvested by hand on the Essex coast in England. They crunch first, then dissolve, so every sip gets a clean, bright hit of salt. Choose 1800 or Casamigos Blanco; 16 drinks from $199. If she likes heat, the Spicy Margarita adds a slow chili burn and a smoked salt rim. Start with the Margarita Kit if you're not sure.
For the whisky drinker: Old Fashioned
For the woman who takes her whisky seriously. The Old Fashioned is strong and slow, made for sipping. A sugar cube softens the whisky, Angostura and orange bitters add warm spice and a little citrus, and a Luxardo cherry finishes it. These are the real thing: sour marasca cherries from northern Italy, preserved in a syrup made from their own juice, so they're nearly black, firm and rich, with a sweet-tart flavour nothing like the neon-red kind. Choose Jameson Irish Whiskey or Glenfiddich Single Malt; 16 drinks from $139.
Under $100
The 4-drink kits are made for a night in for two. The Daiquiri, Mojito, Moscow Mule and Whiskey Sour start at $59, and the Paloma and Tequila Sunrise at $79. If you'd rather she choose, send an e-gift card from $25, or add a set of stainless steel cocktail picks from $12.
What if she's never made a cocktail?
She doesn't need to have. The recipe card walks her through every step, and the jigger and measured bottles take out the guesswork. One reviewer called it "easy to follow even as a beginner."

Gifts for her FAQ
What's a good gift for a woman who has everything?
Something she'll use up instead of finding a place for. A cocktail kit built around the drink she always orders comes with the spirit, everything else she needs and your message on a card we write by hand.
What's a good birthday gift for her?
A kit made for celebrating. The French 75 comes with sparkling wine for a toast, and the Espresso Martini or The Cherry On Top suit a birthday dinner with friends. For a milestone like a 30th, 40th or 60th, the 16-drink kits give her enough for a party.
What should I get her for Christmas?
Match a kit to how she drinks: an Espresso Martini for after dinner, a French 75 for New Year's Eve, a Margarita or an Old Fashioned. Order early in December, and pick the delivery date at checkout.
What are good gifts for her under $100?
A 4-drink kit. The Daiquiri, Mojito, Moscow Mule and Whiskey Sour start at $59, the Paloma and Tequila Sunrise at $79, and the 8-drink Pumpkin Spice Espresso Martini is $99. Under $50, send an e-gift card from $25 or stainless steel cocktail picks from $12.
What's a good experience gift for her in Toronto?
A cocktail kit is an experience she can have at home. She makes proper cocktails for herself and whoever she invites, with everything measured and a recipe card to walk her through it.
Can I send a gift to her anywhere in Ontario?
Yes. Delivery is free across Ontario and next-day in the GTA. Someone 19 or older must receive it and show ID.
